The Aurora is one of Oldsmobile’s best kept secrets. It was one of the best sedans in 2003. And for good reason, the cabin is quieter than the Mercedes S-Class, the ride is more comfortable than the Lexus ES, and the performance is better than the BMW 5 Series. Not only was the Aurora intended to compete with import luxury sedans, it exceeded their overall quality.

The Aurora is a sophisticated power plant, sumptuous interior, and a comfortable ride. Straight out of the factory these cars had a bright future ahead of them. It was the first front wheel drive car used as a pace car in the Indianapolis 500. It had a strong following due to its luxurious style.

It was equipped with a 4.0 V8 engine with 250 horse power and 260 lb-ft torque. It’s MPG is 17/26.
