The 2014 Ford Escape is one of Edmonds favorite small crossover utility vehicles, thanks to athletic driving dynamics, an inviting cabin and useful high-tech features and it’s sporty handling and traction through turns. Overall, it’s one of the better-handling small crossovers available. These abilities don’t come at the expense of ride comfort, either, as the Escape maintains a stable, isolated demeanor over bumps and when cruising on the highway.

This little Gray Wolf has the 2.0-liter turbo engine that cranks out 240 horsepower and can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Its fuel economy kicks out an impressive 25 mpg combined (22 mpg city/30 mpg highway).

And it does not lack in the safety department either. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Escape a top score of “Good” in its frontal-offset, side-impact and roof-strength tests.

Overall the 2014 Ford Escapes is a great well rounded and accommodating road cruiser.

It has had no accidents and has been well kept and well maintained. Tires are in excellent condition with approximately 90% tread left. Maintenance is up to date and has had a fresh oil change with Royal Purple full synthetic. It has a clean car fax and that is available on request.
